Another of the Shelburne Wind Farm. Note that a second wind project near Shelburn is current in implementation. The Melancthon II Wind Project is the second phase of a wind plant being developed by Canadian Hydro Developers, Inc. Approximately 4,860 hectares of land were optioned for wind power development within the Townships of Amaranth and Melancthon, near the Town of Shelburne, in southern Ontario. The planned commercial operation of this project is Q4 2008. |
